The first person is wrong - you have a very good team.

QB - Palmer is a top-3 QB in fantasy football. Losman isn't a great backup, but you'll only need him in there once this season.

RB - Gore is a top-5 selection among running backs, and should have an even better season now that the 49ers have strengthened their passing attack. No more stacking the box against the run. Thomas Jones gets little credit but is a good RB2 who will be the centerpiece of a run-friendly offense. Your other backs aren't strong, but again you won't need to plug them in often.

WR - You have four #1 receivers, which is always a great thing. Burress is an even bigger target this season with Toomer aging, and Reggie Brown should be McNabb's favorite target. Driver and Smith are both proven guys. Good guys here, and nice depth. I would definitely start 3 of them each week, since they're a better option than any of your RBs besides Gore and Jones.

Others - The best tight end in the league, and a kicker who will get plenty of chances. I would be concerned a little about the shaky Colts D, especially if they start getting in shootouts. I'd consider dropping one of your backs like Robinson and picking up a better D if one is out there.

You're a little lacking in depth in the backfield, but that's a good team overall. I'd give them about a 7.5, which is pretty good.

QB: Solid starter with Palmer, but Losman is a question mark. Luckily, you just need him for a BYE week or tough game for Palmer.

RB: Gore should have a monster season this year. Thomas Jones should do well, once he is over his injury. The rest of your RBs are either injured or not expected to maintain any modicum of consistency in the season. Just keep your fingers crossed with those guys.

WR: Smith (hopefully Steve) will return to form and show why he should be considered the #1 WR in the league. Donald Driver is injured and not expected to return soon (I think). Plaxico Burress should be okay, and make sure Reggie Brown is in your starting lineup (he should have another explosive season this year).

TE: Gates = Beast! Daniels is decent in backup duties, but that is about all.

K: Gould should continue to light up the scoreboard with his leg.

Def: The Colts have hemmoraged too many players in the defense regardless of keeping Dwight Freeney. They aren't bad, but they are far from impressive.

Overall ... not bad at all. This seem to be nicely rounded unit for the starters, but the backups for support could cause some problems when the BYE weeks roll around.

For the most part you have an incredible team. Though I am a Colts fan, I can't say I've been impressed with their defense. They have the Tampa 2 setup created by Coach Dungy, which is becoming easier and easier to pick apart and exploit weaknesses. However, they do have many promising players, and provided Bob Sanders and Dwight Freeney stay healthy, you might have some luck with it. Definitley start Palmer, he's great. Start Gore and Jones on RB, Smith for WR (I'm not terribly impressed with your WR choices, other than Smith, great job getting him btw, I don't know who you could start). I was also impressed with Gates and Gould. Good luck!

I was going to write a long response but Craig basically said it all. Just drop the colts and pick up Denver or someone better for now. Maybe the colts d will be the #1 ranked D this year but nobody will pick them up if you drop them.

We have the same QB, so of course I would have to say you have a pretty good team!
