I live in Ontario - Zone 4 or 5- south of Barrie. And have had a beautiful summer. Why is it not blooming?

Too much nitrogen causes lots of lucious growth but no flowers or in vegetables, no fruit.
Buy a fertilizer with the middle number higher than the first and last. This is phosphorous and will stimulate flowers instead of leaves. I use some of each on my plants and have had great results.
Good Luck, fellow gardener!

The only clue I have is that it is growing beautifully. It is possible that it has had too much nitrogen. This would cause abundant leaf growth but inhibit flowering. If that is the case next spring the nitrogen will probably be depleted and you should get blooms. Also all flowers require phosphorous so make sure to feed some.
