Hello,
I was told by the doctors I asked that you had to have 3 kids (which you do) or be 30 years old. So, from what I heard, you should not have a problem. Hope everything goes well for you.

Consider this option: Getting an IUD. It's a non or low-hormone insert that a gynecologist places inside your uterus to prevent sperm from fertilizing your eggs. It can safely remain in place for up to 10 years with proper care. And it's completely reversible. As with everything, it could have its complications, but these are rare. Talk to your doc about it. I would think it's much better than going through major surgery to avoid another pregnancy...

It depends on where you live. Most of the time they will not do it until you are at least 25 or older but sometimes they will make an exception (like because you already have 3). Good luck and just make sure that is what you really really want before you do it. :)

I was 23 when I had my 3rd child...he asked me with that c-section and the one before (when I was 21) "While I'm in there, do you want me to tie your tubes?"

I think it depends on the doctor you are seeing. I don't think there are set rules, every doctor just follows their own guidelines. Some might want you to be a certain age or some may be okay with a certain age and a certain amount of children.

They might try to talk you out of it, might not. It depends on the doctor actually. Since you've had 3 already, they might, although your age is sometimes a prevention of the procedure too. You're going to have to just adamantly tell your doctor you want it done.
Good luck!!!!

My best friend had hers tied after her 2nd child and she was only 22, so yes I think they will.
Most doctors want to wait until after you have one child and you are at least 21. But after that most don't mind doing the procedure, provided you are fully informed and understand your decision.
Discuss the matter with your OB/GYN, he/she can give you all the details and help you to decide if it is for you.

Don't see why not. Some places won't do it right after you have had a baby, but you should be able to find a doctor or clinic to do it.

You may be able to find a doctor who is willing though in general they don't like to do it in women under 25..The fact that you've got a family already established may work in your favor.
