I see Bush is going to bail out those people, unlike you and I, who took out big mortgages without being sure they could repay them.

Can we still get in on the deal?

The great thing about America is that you can take out a loan without showing any proof that you can repay it. Then you get bailed out.

I don't think he is doing that. I believe he is working to lower the interest rates so the people that have the loans can afford to make the payments. The rising interest rates increased some of the monthly payments $250 or more per month.

This is one of the few times I disagree with the President. The basis of capitalism is a free market. Given time, the market would have corrected itself. It does not need government interference.

Yeah, sign me up too when you find one. No kidding, I feel bad for the people that just went through foreclosure and bankruptcy. What awful timing for them! They must really be hating Bush right now.
