If I ever get back to Sydney I plan to pay the price and climb the Harbor Bridge. I have seen photos and videos taken from the bridge and the view is spectacular. And, the bragging rights are nothing to sneeze at either.

Check out this site:

Oh, if you have a fear of heights this may not be your thing...

I would want to see the Opera House up close. The architecture fascinates me.

Last but not least, spend some time meeting the people. There are some great folks in that city as well as the rest of the country. I would like nothing better than to have a fat wallet and a year to spend it all in Australia.

Have a great trip... Hey you don't have any space in your luggage do you? I'm under 5' 9" and could get down to 140 pounds if you give me a couple of weeks. Man I envy you...

The best place to start would be What's on in Sydney here

While the Bridge climb is popular, it is very expensive and you can not take your camera or anything else with you. You are dressed in grey overalls with no pockets so you cannot carry your camera, phone or anything else. They take your photograph at the top of the Bridge and you get a copy but you cannot take your own. This prevents people dropping cameras and phones onto the cars driving below. The views are certainly spectacular.
