3 days.. Tick...Tock
I'm sure this wasn't a suprise to you.. that they were going to give you the boot.
Instead of asking stupid questions you should be looking for a job and a place to stay.

They can't remove you on a 3 day notice. They have to take you to court and get a court order. After that the time limit is up to the judge. If you aren't paying, be sure you are ready to move before court because they usually side with the landlords regardless of how good and legal your reasons are for not paying.

Well, everyone so far is wrong.
The 3 day pay or quit says "pay on the 3rd day or we will file a eviction notice. If you don't leave willingly they have to take you to court to get you out.. Tends to be 60-90 days before you have to leave.

If you don't pay by the third day, the landlord can start eviction proceedings, and depending on the state, that usually takes about 30 days. If the landlord really wants you out, they'll let the process play out.

The sheriffs are not going to come. It's a civil matter.

Depends on their workload but probably at the end of the 3rd day. I am assuming this is not an eviction from a home order. (order is pertaining to something you are doing or selling) Those take longer, especially if children are involved.
