Actually, why haven't any prominent gay activists been on TV to either confirm or deny the officer's accusations that this behavior is "common" and is "signals"?
And DON'T say this is too ridiculous for someone to discuss, because it is SERIOUS enough to have landed someone in jail!
So I would like to know - from people who are almost always consulted to discuss homosexuals' attitudes and behavior toward marriage, crime, civil rights, etc. - whether the behavior the Senator was accused is in fact common enough in the homosexual community, to support an accusation of solicitation?

Uh... um... just because someone is gay, it doesn't mean that they know the in's and out's of lewd behavior in a bathroom stall.
And why the hell would gay activist come out and support someone who has never supported them? The guy claims he's not gay. If he decides to come out of the closet and admit he's gay and how wrong he was for leading a deceitful life, perhaps then the gay community would have a reason to support him. Until that cold day in hell where the pigs fly arrives, I wouldn't count on hearing a peep.

They don't need to as enough is being said by everyone else. The issue is, by the way, not that Larry Craig is gay or not but that he is a hypocrite. Unless outraged by hypocracy ,as many of us are, the Gay/lesbian community shouldn't make any more issue of it than anyone else.

Does anyone really care what Rosie has to say, other than people who think of her as the model lib in order to justify bashing liberals?
What makes you think habits in the homosexual community is any different than in the straight comunity, when it comes to courting a sex partner?
Why do you think people who are gay are going to defend him just because he is gay?
A criminal is a criminal.

Well for one thing... I don't think he landed in jail as you say... for another he wasn't arrested for being gay, he was arrested for soliciting sex in a public place. I think he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. His explanations (wide stance, I was picking up toilet paper) sound pretty lame. I mean has your foot EVER touched the foot of the guy in the next stall?
To answer your question directly... I think Rosie and others are content to watch him twist in the wind so to speak, they don't have to say anything.

I thought someone took Rosie's squawk box away.
You wouldn't think she's bright enough to dream up any method of sponsoring a republican for being gay now would you?
She's as gay as they come, but she's also a huge hypocrite.
Had she had any non-hypocrite in her... She'd side with Senator Craig (along with other gays) and either challenge him on his previous decisions towards gays or burn him at the stake.
Since they're doing nothing... That means there's no money in it for them to say anything.

Don't worry, Barney Franke will have something to say on the subject as soon as he makes the best deal for the on-air interview.
As far as Rosie goes....I would like to think she hasn't been in too many men's rooms but, who knows?
I'm not sure I would listen to someone who managed to put the welders union in therapy when they heard from her that fire doesn't melt steel.
SHE is a moonbat.

Because gay activists won't HONESTLY talk about their extremely high levels of promiscuity which make marriage a STUPID idea--in the sense in which we mostly believe marriage to be monogamous, which is why they seek to make marriage OPEN and NOT MONOGAMOUS to suit their promiscuous (with much higher disease rates from sexual transmission) lifestyle
