my last lmp was on august 3 rd and i ovulated on august 20th i have a 31 day cycle i had sex on the 14th and the 16th and the 21st and 22nd what are my chances of being pregnant?

The average couple with well-timed intercourse has about a 20% chance each cycle. If ovulation for sure occurred on CD18, then your intercourse pattern does not give you optimal chances for getting pregnant. I'm no expert but if I had to put a number on it, I would guess your chances to be 10%. You are currently 11dpo, are you starting to have any early pregnancy symptoms?

You have about a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle that you ovulate and have appropriately timed intercourse. If you ovulated on the 20th for sure you could not have conceived on the 21st or 22nd. It has been proven that it is nearly impossible to conceive on the day you ovulate or anytime after ovulation due to the fact the egg only lives about 12 hours. Sperm lives around 3 days inside a woman so I would guess if the last time you had sex before ovulation was the 16th you have slim chance of conceiving this cycle. Of course you could have ovulated earlier or later than you think. If you didn't conceive this cycle use opks and chart your temperature next cycle to help get a more accurate time of ovulation. If you did ovulate then your chances are pretty high as long as his sperm count is normal and active. If you ovulated on the 20th then the 16th might have been a good time but I showed signs of ovulation on May 3rd and got pregnant May 4th so the 21st might have been the magical time. Either way there is a pretty good chance if you both are fertile that you go pregnant. Wait atleast 14 days from the 22nd before testing.

i checked on this website that I used to get prego, and it showed that your fertile days were 17-20th. You may get prego. Make sure you lay with your feet up for 20-30 minutes. The website is babyhopes.com and I use the ovulation calendar. For all three pregnancies I have had, we used that site and i got prego all three times on the first try! Good luck and baby dust!

good luck ,if it doesnt happen this time i would suggest sex every second day for a week before and after the time you think you will be ovulating
