...I think that it's safe to say that 'Jack M' probably has the points, as far as matching the film to your description; however, for perhaps a mere 'thumbs up', it might just be worth mentioning that the HBO episode of "Tales from the Crypt", entitled "...and All Through the House", was a virtual remake of the same story taken from the chilling classic British Amicus horror anthology from 1972, also known as "Tales from the Crypt"; the story featured the gorgeous Joan Collins, as the woman plagued upon, by a psychopathic Santa...

...oh, yeah...one more point worth mentioning; Both the original "Tales from the Crypt", as well as it's anthology companion feature film, "The Vault of Horror", also produced by Amicus, are finally about to be released on DVD, on a double-feature disc, through Fox Video...
