I've been looking, but would like to hear some input from people that are already apart of an agency or at least know a little information about some. thank you for your time in advance. Also I live near philly and can travel to New York very easily.

Well, you gotta be more than serious, you have to be experienced as an actor and very good at it, you have to have a head shot, resume and your parents' consent. Then you have to know how to approach the agent, how to audition, etc.
