My girlfriend used the morning after pill after our condom broke on july 15th, she had her period by july 22nd, but has not had one since. from what i understand, her cycle was supposed to start over on the 22nd (of july) but it is now august 31st and she hasn't had a period since the one she had july 22nd. is this a side-effect of the morning after pill?

The morning after pill is suppose to prevent the egg and sperm from fertilizing in the fallopian tubes. Your girlfriend had 5 days or 120 hours after intercourse to take the pill to prevent pregnancy. If she has not gotten her period at this point, I would suggest going to the doctor's. She could be pregnant or there could be something else wrong. Good Luck!
