i totally appreciate the flexibility of being bymyself. when i want a coffee or lunch i'd rather go by myself wander around and pick something up at leisure. Is there anyone else like that.

Also I have a challenging work load and dont talk about it too much, some colleagues go on and on ranting and proclaiming if they get something in their inbox. I find that people assume that they are the bussiest. Oh well!

Yeah im like that i like doing stuff by myself. Nothing wrong with that. It is actually cool that you are confident enough to realize that you dont need friends that much. It is fun to hang out with friends and it is sometimes much more fun hanging out with yourself:)
Some people talk about work related stuff because they dont have much else to talk about. Sometimes they do it to make others feel like they dont matter to them and act like an important person who has so much goin on. Who cares about them? Hang around with cooler people;)

Independence is good and needed both inside and outside of relationships. Being able to do thing alone and whenever we want is very important to all people at times. But other times it is very nice and needed to do things with your mate.

You're just an overachiever. Quit bragging so much we understand.
