Yes, they are non-Zionists. Zionists Jews smear them by calling them self-hating Jews.

Yes there are Jews who are anti-Zionists due to either feeling that Jewish is more of a religious thing than nationalism like being a Catholic American or Anglican Brit. There are also anti-Zionists in the Hasidim and Orthodox Jewish movements who because of religious beliefs that feel the time for the Jews to have a homeland is not at the present time but more at the end of time. There are also socialist or communist Jews who believe to be part of the worldwide movement for workers they need to be in other countries. They live throughout the world.

The Satmar Chassidism do not think that Israel can really exist until the Messiah has come, but many of them live in Israel. You can pronounce Chassidism correctly if you pronounce the "ch" at the beginning hard, like you would say the letter X (Chi) in Greek.

There are some ultra-orthodox Jews who feel that there should not be a Jewish state until after the arrival of the Messiah, so they do not support the existence of Israel.

I'm a Jew that has serious problems with Israel and its policies. A homeland for Jews is fine, but calling people anti-semitic just for their criticism of the state's oppression of Palestinians is repugnant to me. The Israeli gov't continues to get away with murder, and several of its top officials would certainly be executed as war criminals if the trials of Nurnberg were held today. We've adopted the tactics of our enemies rather than taking the moral highground and ensuring a world that accepts Jews as a moral people. Before the establishment of Israel, Jews and Arab Christians and Muslims had no serious conflicts. We were able to live together peacefully throughout the middle east. Now we have terrorism and murder. If Israel didn't exist, we wouldn't have this problem. Israel is making sure that Jews remain targets of racism rather than contributors to the welfare and prosperity of the societies in which they live.

As I understand it these people don't recognize the existance of Israel. It's not so much that they are against it's existance just that they don't recognize it for what it is.

There are also some Jews who are against its existance in the area it is in. They see the conflict as everlasting and unavoidable where it currently is, and would rather relocate the Jewish state to a safer area, and therefore aren't adamant about keeping Jerusalem.
This Jew likes the Israeli state where it is btw.
