the paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but short tempers;wider free ways, but narrower viewpoints;we spend more.but have less;we buy more but enjoy it less.
we have bigger houses and smaller families;more conveniences, but less time;we have more degrees, but less sense;more knowledge, but less judgment more experts but more problems more medicine, but less wellness.
we talk too much love too seldom, and hate too often;weve learned how to make a living but not a life ; weve added years to life, not life to years.
weve learned to rush, but not to wait;we have higher incomes, but lower morals.these are the days of two incomes, but more divorces,of fancier houses, but broken homes.

The answer, in my humble opinion, is that we are heading for some sort of climax that will bring the equation back into balance. It is the most logical outcome of all of this.

Left unchecked the current trend and lifestyle of the 1st world / western world (and expecially the 3rd world's tendency to asimilate almost everything we do into their own culture in the worse way) can only lead to extinction. Humans will either survive or we won't; it's as simple as that.

My money is on us slowly killing ourselves. Earth will go on and we won't.

It's not a one truth.

Humanity is going to improve alot in the next 100 years because if not, it'll be their doom.

That's right, but I think it's just looking at dark side.
We lose something and we gain something in return, either worthy or not. Look at bright side and you can write an article challenging this one!
