i need my car door resprayed following an accident, im trying to work out the figures to rebuild it but have got to the final part an was just wondering does anybody know how much it wold set me back... so its just the drivers door that needs re-spraying

A quality shop will probably charge 3-400.00 to paint one panel but any good paint job for a door requires you to "blend" the color into the adjacent panels (fender and 1/4 panel) for a good color match which brings up the price a few more hundred. Almost impossible to just paint one panel and not see the color difference because of fading and color formula's not being exactly alike. The adjacent panels need to be taped off, scuffed and then sprayed to fade the fresh paint and clearcoat into them.
