It held the plastic trim on the side of my truck and this stuff is really sticky

Goof off
It will remove adhesives but wont hurt the paint. after you get the adhesive off, give the truck a good wash & WAX and you will be as good as new

Try scraping off as much as you can with a dull knife or paint stir stick/old credit card, then use WD-40 to remove the rest of the adhesive. You can also try heating up the tape with a hair dryer on low heat setting--- sometimes it makes it easier to peel it off.

Go to the store and buy some "Goo-Gone" it is citrus based and will remove almost anything sticky without harming your paint.

"Goo Gone" works wonders!! I had to remove stickers from my car windows and it now looks like there was never anything there! It also smells good too!
