How does the environment affect the people who live in Las Vegas? How have they changed the landscape?

It is so hot here that people do not use their yards. They do not get to know their neighbors. Come home and go directly into the house and do not come out unless you have to go somewhere. In the winter, if you have lived here awhile, you are freezing at 60 degrees and stay in because your blood is so thin from the heat that you freeze. It is an indoor society here not a social one. They try to plant grass or have a flower garden. A waste of time and water. The humidity is rising here because of all the watering in the yards. They should just keep it a desert and live with it like the water department want everyone to do.

Not plain sand desert. Tons of buildings, houses, apts, condos/ highrises, stores, malls, pavement many many miles of it.
