How does one get CSE to do anything??? I am completely fed up with these people. My son's father is behind $2000+ in child support which according to the CSE handbook is punishable by lose of license and jail time. They cant even locate my file when I call. So how do I try to work with these people in a polite way to get anything done?

I have a child support order and wage withholding order the state simply refuses to use it and they are the ones who acquired it.

You can sign a form and have them stop enforcing and collecting and then you can do it your self. If you have a child support order in place you can simply file a wage assignment. If you do not know where he is or where he works you will have to rely on CSE to find him. If he is not working but has assets you can do a writ of execution and take property and/or bank accounts.

If you have no information, you can file for a debtor's examination, serve him with it and question him in court regarding his assets, bank accounts, and his employer.

Never ask the government to collect something that you can do yourself... it just takes way to long.

Call the State department of child support. Local offices are slow to act on complaints.
