Is it possible? I'm living with my grandma know but she lives in a 55+ complex and they say I can't live there. My parents will know that I'm living in an apartment, but they won't know WHO I'm living with... and will the apartment place say anything about me living with him? I'll be 18 in 2 months and I am attending a community college in southern california.

The thing is I can't wait. I can't go back to my parents' house because my ex-stepdad is a pervert AND there's no room for me. I can't live here because I'm not a senior citizen. I don't know anyone I can room with either... They said I could get a cosigner on my lease but I can't find anyone to cosign... The only thing I can think of is for him to lease it and for me to live with him.

If you are not 18, you can't be on the lease. Your parents will know that and know that you are living with someone. See if you can't get an extension on living with your grandmother until you are 18. He could possibly get in trouble.

Well lets see. Your almost certainly sexual relationship with your 21 year old boyfriend is illegal. When your parents find out, hes going down for rape, so theres your first whammy.

As far as living with your grandma, just say you are visiting every time they ask.

Your parents will probably be aware that a 17 year old cannot rent an apartment on their own (at least not in my state).

The apartment place will not disclose who is or is not on the lease most likely, except to perhaps some concerned parents tossing around the words "statutory rape". Then they'll tell them anything they want to know.

Is it possible? Yes believe me screwing up your entire future is VERY possible. You should really reconsider but I know you wont. I recognize this desperate behavior all too well. You are trying to dodge the inevitable truth staring you right in the face.

You do realize that you are just begging to get pregnant and left as a single mother with no education and possibly no place to stay right?

You have a choice now. Soon you will not be able to turn back. If you choose this life with your boyfriend you are going to make life very very hard on yourself.

The above was before additional details were added:

Is your step dad trying to spy on you or touch you? Is he making inappropriate sexual comments? What does your mother have to say about it when you tell her about it? If he has molested you, why haven't you contacted the police? The solution to such a problem is not to throw away your future but simply to call the police.

If its a choice between a perv dad and a 21 year old boyfriend, i would choose the boyfriend.
But if its a choice between your grandma and your 21 year old boyfriend, I would choose your grandma. I'm not sure about the exact rules about the 55+ but from what I heard, only one person needs to be 55+ to be in the complex. Which means as long as your grandma stays there, you can stay there too. Check the rules and regulations again to make sure.

You're a minor and you can not sign the lease. When you turn 18, you can do whatever you want but be careful, if you get pregnant, your boyfriend might leave you and the baby, then what are you going to do? Babies are not cheap, Think twice before you make your move.

Not until you turn 18. Depending on state law, HE could be in serious trouble as well. Hold off for 2 months and then everyone will be legal.

If you follow through and move in with the b/f, once your parents find out they will probably disown you and they will report the b/f to the police for statutory rape.

Check your state laws for age of consent and statutory rape or wait until you are 18.

You can get caught. Dont do it and spoil it all. Just do things with the law and at the same time keep your life less complicated.
