How do you wash Leather?

I have a white leather bag from Top Shop and I need to wash it....what's the best way?

You can wash the out side with leatherer cleaner, you can buy leath wipes at WAl-mart in the auto section, If the inside is lined with cloth then you can pull it out until it stops and use warm water and mild soap, wring it out then hang it so that the cloth is dangling down and not touching the leather.

You need to use a product called Lazy Leather which cleans and protects in one spray. Very effective on handbags.

Also using a good leather protector (not a conditioner) will help inhibit it getting dirty in future.

Buy a car leather seat cleaner. To nourish the bag buy some soft polish the same colour as the bag or, use Nivea - in the blue pot - about £2.50 rub in and then buff off - it sounds odd but it really works.

I clean my leather sofa wif soap and water and its brings it a treat. I'm sure it'll do ur bag some good too.

The recommended product is called "saddle soap". Get it at a farm supply store, or I have used a mild liquid dish detergent like dawn. Just wipe bag with wet cloth soaked in dawn and water, wipe dry.
