YOUR CABLE COMPANY'S WEB SITE WILL HAVE FULL INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL THE EQUIPMENT.
WE CAN'T HELP YOU SINCE YOU DON'T MENTION THE MAKE AND MODEL OF YOUR TV, YOUR CABLE COMPANY OR WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE A SET TOP BOX...

Your tuner probably gets the "clear" ones - with no scrambling.
Unless you have a CableCard you can't access the scrambled ones.
