they were just issued in 2006. the do not expire.

Stamps never expire. Just make sure that the total postage is correct. There are some old stamps that may only have a letter, A, B, C, etc., and no postage indicated. There were transition stamps and you will have to get the value from the post office.

Stamps don't expire, however, the value of stamps has recently changed. Stamps from 2006 would be for $0.39 and are now $0.41, this means that, in order to use these stamps, you will have to buy some 2 cent stamps at your local post office.

They're still good for the face value. Stamps don't expire, but the rates have gone up since then. If the stamp says 39 cents, then you'll need to add a 2 cent stamp with it to cover the cost of postage.

If they are worth 41 cents, then they are fine. If they are less, just purchase $.02 stamps to add on. Stamps should never expire. They might need to be added to, but they never expire.

U.S postage never expires. You can use a stamp from 100 years ago if you want, but it would be worth more for collecting. It's just like money - you can spend a hundred year old coin but it would be a waste.

The 2006 is issuing date and postal stamps remain intact till use.

They are fine. You just have to make sure you use the correct amount of postage for what you are mailing. If the stamp doesn't say how many cents it is worth, ask a post office clerk.
