Most custom air cleaners like the one you picture are for a 4 barrel carb---a 2 barrel has a much smaller mounting flange for the air cleaner so you would have to find an adapter plate of some sort, if possible, to make it work. Best air cleaner size for optimum air flow is 14 inch diameter and 3 inches tall---many car magazines have run tests over the years to find the best air cleaner size to maximize Hp and Torque. Better to just cut a hole in the hood and buy a hood scoop and bolt it on the hood or fiberglass it on---like the old 6 pack scoops looked like. They look cool but really not too functional---most high air pressure while driving is at the base of the windshield, which is why some factory GM cars had "Cowl Induction", or at the very front edge of the hood. If you look at most funny cars, their scoops in the center of the hood are usually a good 12-18 inches above the hood to get the most airflow---not legal to drive around town as it obscures the driver's vision.

Why not save your money and someday drop in a nice 440 wedge motor.
I have a friend who drag races all over the USA with a 67 AS/A Dodge who's running "too'' close to the national record. His best is 10.002 @ 140 MPH. on 10 inch tires. Granted it's a drag race - only - car, but still not bad for a 440 with a single Carter carbuerator. Guess what, no hood scoop!
