The Congress of Vienna dealt with the establishment of national boundaries in Europe in the wake of the Napoleonic wars. Many of the delegates believed that the principles of the French Revolution led to the upheaval in Europe that took place during the Napoleonic Wars, so for the most part, they sought to restore Europe to the way it was before the Revolution.
