How do you tell a friend she has .....?

Question

well muffin top and that it just isn't working for her. In case you don't know what that is. She wears low rise jeans and her hips spill out over the top. She isn't fat ...just healthy w/ junk in the trunk. Should I even mention it at all?

I would hope someone who claimed to be my friend would tell me that something looked bad on me!!! Glad Jackie isn't my friend she would let me walk around with my butt hanging out.

Obviously she has a mirror but if you must say something be constructive and not critical such as "I found these great new jeans that aren't exactly low-rise but aren't old 80's jeans either. Let's go see what they look like on." That is about all you can do is SUGGEST. After that you are being rude.

you should definitely tell her. she may not have noticed it or if she has noticed it she probably doesn't think it looks that bad or noticeable. yes, its harsh to tell her something like this, but its even more crude to not let her know. DO NOT tell her in front of others, it will embarrass her. Just pull her aside to a place where no one else is and let her know. She may get mad at first but if the two of you are really good friends than she will forgive you and understand where you are coming from.

if her ...muffin top... bothers u so much that ur embarassed to be with her when she wears jeans, go shopping together and look for cute high-rise jeans and suggest them to her until she gets the hint. i personally used to have a friend like this, but she wore super-low jeans, and she was fat. (we're not friends anymore)and everyone made fun of her. i mentioned it to her by saying, whenever you bend down, you can see ur buttcrack. maybe u should pull up ur jeans. then she got mad and everyone kept making fun of her. i apologized n w/e.....then she still didnt pull up her jeans and she overheard ppl calling her a plumber, etc. and she got mad at me for not telling her she was being made fun of. so yea. =)

maybe mention that sometimes u get it even tho u dont and go shopping and go to mays and try on lucky brand jeans they are mid rise in the back to they prevent muffin top and then convice her to try on a pair and maybe she will like them and buy them and notice how much better they look!

don't tell her. i will hurt her feelings. maybe you shoild go shopping with her and get a pair of higher rise jeans and suggest she try them on because you think they will look really good on her. when she trys them on tell her it looks way better than the low rise jeans she always wear and tell her to get them.

I see that this fashion is on the outs so you might not want to mess with your friendship but one way would be to take her picture and let her see it too. Let Her decide if it looks bad.

If you are close friends with her, why not? Let her know how you feel. It's the samething as someone telling you you have a little toilet paper trail in your pants; it might be embarrasing, but you'd appreciate it, right?

I've always wondered what the name for that is. i see that every day. drives me crazy when women/girls where their low riding jeans with a tight top, DONT THEY HAVE A FULL LENGTH MIRROR. good luck telling her...
