India and Pakistan are getting more and more friendly as years go by... both countries have a growing middle class....India has a population of 350 million, highly educated middle class( and still growing) and is the second fastest growing economy and rocks when it comes to information technology and information systems..India also has a growing manufacturing industry and one of the largest armies in the world. If India and Pakistan (hypothetically speaking) were to combine strengths, wouldn't that be a threat to many other economies of the world?

No, India will become a threat on it's own- Pakistans contribution would be just as insignificant as it is today.

No. The reason the British separated them into two countries was to keep the crazy muslims away from the law abiding, civil people of the rest of India.
India and Pakistan have been on the brink of nuclear war more than once. The two sides are still fighting over Kashmir.
Pakistan produces nothing but people. The muslim crazies don't have time to work; they pray five times a day.
I think you made up the notion that the people of the two countries are getting along.

Now stop thinking about Pakistan merging in you when you will left such thinking which is the cause of WARS, Do u know what that's why Pakistan and India had sooo many wars in the past it is due to that poor thinking of yours that you never consider Pakistan as a separate independance country. Now live and let live.

I dont think so. India is still plagued with rigid class and caste system, having roots in its predominant religion, hinduism. I dont think an overpopulated, poor and socially divided country like India can threaten developed world economies, even if we consider that Pakistan, which has a much higher per capita income and a much better social prosperity level, joins hands with it.

India only has a rising middle class because of the American middle class jobs that are given to them. If it would keep them in their own countries I am all for it.

The reason that Pakistan exists is the religious rift between Hindu and Muslim. It could never happen.
