David's the best ever...YES. Carson was good too. David is a comic genius and does off the wall stuff that just cracks me up. He can be funny by doing nothing. I love his sarcasm. He's the King. I can't wait to see him on Oprah's premiere show.

The indisputable best was Johnny Carson. He was amazing in his ability to relate to any and all guests - he seemed, and some have said this about him, to genuinely be interested in people and their stories.
I love the wackiness that Letterman has, I think Conan is hilarious, and Craig Ferguson is getting better. But the best talk show host is Carson.

I like him, I also like Leno, but I switch back and forth. I hate Paul Schaeffer, the bandleader though. He is such a silly, ridiculous man.
