Lets not also forget the fact that she played to the crowd and press either. A friend of mine is a reporter for a well-known paper, she phoned him one evening and said which restaurant she would be in if he wanted some exclusive photographs.
When he arrived with the photographer, she started shouting and complaining about having no privacy in her life and press harassment.
But I do think that it is time that the subject and all of the inquiries into her death were dropped, as you say 10 years is long enough.

If some people didn't try and hold the woman up so high, others would not try and knock her down.
She is not blameless in this matter, it takes 2 to forge a relationship.
We will never truly know what went on between Charles and Diana, the baring her mental condition had on the relationship and why it failed. You can't take the blame for having a mental illness, but you can be realistic about the effect it has on the others around you, she never was.
She was certainly able to look as if butter wouldn't melt and very good at playing the woman scorned.
If she really had wanted to be left alone she could of had a completely different life style. As it is the need to remain in the throng of things added to her tragic end.
I think we should except now that part of her personality was needy, hence the desire for public adulation. It also made her a loving a devoted mother.
We should also except that Camilla and Charles love one another, she has remained loyal to him and the family. She has also never tried to comment on Diana or disrespect her in any manner. The sons obviously love both their parents, are reconciled with this matter and Camilla, so should we be.
Diana was not perfect, this was apparently part of her appeal.
Going back to man's best friend, I think Rottweillers are strong, beautiful and loyal creatures.

According to which biographies you have dipped into it is a moot point whether Charles went back to Camilla after he discovered Diana's fling with her bodyguard, who was later killed in a motor cycle accident or whether he had already re-assumed his affair with Camilla.
Even if Diana did react with having multiple affairs, the fact remains that she was the Princess of Wales and she, along with other historical figures, has denigrated that position.
It has recently been alleged that she was 10 weeks pregnant. If so, Dodi cannot have been the father. It hardly adds lustre to her reputation.
I'm not surprised that, with all these goings on, that Charles went back to Camilla.
Never forget that the Spencers have always been a very ambitious family. And not a very nice one. Diana's father was a violent drunk and look at her brother! For anyone who doubts, read '
Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, by Amanda Burton.

It is sad that we try to judge Princess Diana. She said simply that there were 3 in her marriage. That was Charles,Diana and of course Camilla. She tried, did not want a Divorce, she considered her Sons, and it was up to Charles. She was young, beautiful and the Best Mother.Rejection is difficult to deal with. and we saw it all come to a tragic end. Not retaliating, is the best way , however not easy to do.Princess Diana was a blessing to the World . Let God be the judge, and let Princess Diana rest in Peace

It was Charles who cheated on Diana and that was the exact reason why the Princess filed for divorce. That does not mean, however, that Princess Diana's search for love should not be mentioned because in doing so, people did not mean to put her in a bad light. She will always be the people's princess but we should not forget the fact that she was also human just like everybody else.

I think Charles should have left Diana alone. He was in love with Camilla and nothing seems to have changed that. He cheated first and so Diana got even. And I hope he was pissed off! Camilla is not only ugly on the outside but on the inside for her infidelities.

It seems easy to pick on her, but whats new?
Some people need to grow up and finally leave her alone, she deserves to rest in peace does she not, thats not happening, but again whats new??
For me the lady did lots of lovely things in her short life, and thats what i remember the most, she had a touch few pocessed.
I know i miss her, a lot, because such a person she was, Princess Diana was a fine example to us all.

There are some accounts that showed she cheated first. Anyway, they both cheated which is a sad reality. They should not have got married in the first place.

It just balances the equation a little more fairly. I don't imagine she was easy to live with. And while it was wrong, Charles did stick to the love of his life rather than have a string of short affairs with an assortment of unsuitable women.
