If you are attending a boarding school thats located in the city you live in, which is about 2 hours away from your home. Are you alowed to visit home on the weekends or is it forbiden to leave the school at all times?

as far as i know, you are allowed to leave school premises on weekends.. esp if your parents gets to inform the school that you are coming home.. just to be sure, ask for a student hand book from your school, cause each school has it's own laws and regulations. If your school doesn't have one, you can inquire with your guidance counselors or principal. But surely, as long as your parents would inform them about you leaving on weekends, esp if they get to talk with them i think there wont be any problem.

When I went to boarding school 30 years ago, they gave us about 9 weekends a year when we could go home. I'm sure they are more flexible now.
