I had a lot of bleeding with my daughter starting at 5 weeks and ending at 16 weeks. It then started up again at 40.5 weeks so they induced. It was to the point where I had to change my pad at least 2-3 times a day. She was fine, though, thank God. Some women just have bleeding. I never really had an answer as to why I bled, why so much and why so long. I would say if it gets worse and/or you experience cramping too I would go to your doctor. I pretty much saw my doctor on a weekly basis when I was bleeding and have many, many sonogram pics of my daughter. The bleeding never bothered her and my pregnancy went forward. Good luck!

I did experience a line of blood in my discharge for my pregnancy (now 5 1/2 months along) it occured at about 3 months along and my doctor wanted me to go in for an ultra sound. come to find out my placenta had seperated a tiny bit from the wall - very very little, which can cause you to spot. I was advised to take it easy until they scheduled me for the next one in which they found the tear had healed. Now there could be all sorts of reasons why you had some spotting, most of the time it is nothing. Howeverk, since you had a misscarrage last year, I would ask your doctor if you could come in for an ultra sound just to check, or get a second opinion. Better safe than sorry. However it is possible it is nothing at all.

I also miscarried last Dec. at approximately the same week you are now (6-8 weeks along) I am now 26 weeks pregnant. Try to stay in bed and don't do anything to exerte yourself if the bleeding gets heavier call your doctor and she will probably have you come back in and take a blood test to see if your HCG levels are dropping, if they are you are miscarrying again. If not it may be that your hormones are acting a little wacky right now and you just need to take it easy.

I have had some bleeding and thankfully everything seems to be okay. I am only 10 weeks but the baby has been growing so fingers crossed.

Good luck!

It can be normal for a lot of pregnancies. In your cause its just a precaution to have to take it easy.

Do what your doctor says and dont expect your body to fail your child.
