The most current version of THE reference is O'Reilly's

"JavaScript: The Definitive Guide, Fifth Edition"...

http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/jscript5/

I work on a team of thirty UIEs...we all own some edition of this one. I own the third and fifth.

Have you taken a look at the W3 Schools site? They have Javascript and many other web references (VBScript, XML, XSL, AJAX, etc...)?

** Edit **
Rick23509 - Sun is not the developer of Javascript. They do have the trademark for "Javascript" but Netscape developed the implementation. (See the Wiki article you linked for a more detailed reference).

Since SUN is the devloper they're going to have the most expansive reference tables.

Client-Side JavaScript Reference
http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6408-10/contents.htm

Server-Side JavaScript Reference
http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6410-10/contents.htm

General information can be found on Wikipedia

Good luck,
Rick
