You are unique and special! Do you tend to be more attracted to the customs of one race over the other? Are more of your friends Black or Spanish? These are just a couple things to consider, but really you have the freedom to just be you. When people ask you can say Black-Hispanic or Hispanic-Black or even just that you're multi-racial if you don’t want to get into it.

Hmm, my friend was mixed also they went by the dad.... last name, but if he grew up in the spanish culture then i would go by what i grew up by what i feel more comfortable as... i think bi-racials are very beautiful people..

Well my mom is Cuban and my dad is Black...I was lucky enough to grow up with both families...I consider myself to be Black -Hispanic

If most of their heritage and life is centered on Spanish, go with that.

Half black half spanish by descent
Spanish and american by culture

They would just fall into the "mixed" category. A child's parents don't have to be black and white to be mixed. "Mixed" is used for mixing of 2 or more races.

an Afro-Spaniard?, lol, you would be considered both, there are blacks living in cuba, called Afro-Cubans, so I guess the same applies here, you have the opportunity to know your ethnic heritage, many Americans cannot say the same thing, consider yourself lucky. =]
