My Senator from WI is gay - Herb Kohl but no one EVER says anything about it. He never admitted it but...so many people here in WI say he is.

Who Cares. I am a conservative and a persons sexual orientation does not bother me in the least. The only ones it does bother is the media, certain religious entities, and those that feel threatened by it. I think that says more about them then the gay community. While I am at the opposite end of the spectrum sexually from gay folks, I'm certain that they have very similar hopes and feelings as the straight population. As far as serving in Congress, I don't understand the problem. Many great world leaders in the past were either straight, gay, bisexual, or suspected of being such (pick one.) Sexual orientation certainly did not diminish their accomplishments. Nuff said.

Republican.
All the Dem's outed them selves or by neocons. Remember, Dems are the party that wecolme everyone.
Repubs are still hiding in closets, and all ways will. It has to do with the so called "family Values" platform they stand on.
Remember, Republican is the party that has fox news calling anything anti Bush as Hate Speech. And supports Ted Nuggents hate rant on women.
But just for the hell of it, why don't the citizens of each State Senator or Governor be required to publicly state FACTS of their life and values under oath.
If your for the Patriot Act, this fits its uses.
And when found out to have lied under oath, TOTAL Forfeiture of Pay & Pension.
Remember who is paying their way, YOU!

Well,he's not a sen or a rep ,but a dem candidate. Bill Richardson.
Most Uncomfortable Moment: Capehart grilled Richardson for using the Spanish word for the anti-gay epithet “fa**ot” on the Don Imus radio show in March 2006, then Etheridge asked Richardson pointedly if he believes being gay is a personal choice or an inherent biological trait.

If not before,I'll bet that next year's GOP Convention will be the downfall of a few.
I think the GOP has set itself up to be the target of plants meant to find proof and out its members.
I think they deserve it....

Likely, it'll be a Republican who's voted against gay marriage or to "protect the children".
