I felt flutters at 12 weeks, and real kicks by 16 weeks... so yes, it is probably your baby....You only feel it at certain times, because the baby is pretty small right now, so you only feel it move if you are in the right position. Plus babies have more active times and less active times... I almost always feel mine more at night, and in the morning. They are usually most active when you are at rest... The rocking motion of you walking and such keeps them asleep.... Congrats, and enjoy the little kicks!

Its very possible! Typically, a first time mother will feel the babys first kicks at about 20-22 weeks. but many things can change that timing. For example, if you are more on the slender side, or have strong belly-muscles(a.k.a you did alot of sit-ups in the past), then you may feel the baby kicking sooner!
The best time to feel your baby kicking is when you are laying down and resting. Whe up and about, moving around, its hard to feel the baby kicking this early. This would explain why you would feel it at night. Also, wait about 30 mintues about you eat a snack, then lay down and you may feel the baby kicking. This is because of the nutrients and sugars in the snack that 'wake-up' the baby.
The first kicks may feel like a little tap. Sometimes, we might have to concentrate really hard. But from what you are desrcibing, it sounds like it!

You probably are feeling kicks from your little one about now. I know I started to feel them at about 4 or 5 months so it is very possible. Although it might still just be fluttering, either way it is your baby moving so enjoy it. I would always lay flat on my back that way I would know for sure what I was feeling. Maybe that's something you should try. Anyways enjoy it you'll miss it later. Good luck!!

It's possible.
But only you know for sure what you're feeling. Once you're further along you'll be able to differentiate gas from baby. And when you get to around 28 weeks you'll wish baby didn't kick you so hard in the ribs.

Absolutely. You have probably been feeling little flutters for a few weeks now due to peanut swimmimg around. Now that baby is getting bigger and has arms, legs, hands and feet you will be able to feel little kicks. The farther along you get the more you'll feel them. You will actually be able to see your stomach move and determine what body part it was. That was my favorite part.

I felt flutters around 14-15 weeks and still do at 17 weeks. If you feel something more than likely it is your baby. My doctor said it's time to start feeling it a little bit. Mine feels like a wave or a fish swimming around and sometimes it feels like a spasm in my stomach. I can't wait till my husband is able to feel it!!

The first time I felt my baby move was at 17 weeks. It was a small nudge like feeling and one of the most memorable moments of my pregnancy. It is definetly possible to feel your baby at this stage. Good luck with your pregnancy.

yup sounds like your little bump is making itself known. As the baby grows and gets stronger you'll notice more flutters and some people mention "cobweb like" sensations. Soon enough you'll get the full on kicks and head banging. LOL by the time you get to full term you'd wish the baby would settle down!

That's the baby quickening. It's a trip, isn't it? It's one of the best things about pregnancy. It will become more pronounced over time. Wait til Junior hooks a foot under one of your ribs and starts pushing it out!

I had my daughter 16 months ago and yes, I felt her moving around in there. It felt like little butterflies. As she got bigger I definitely felt more pronounced kicks at about 5 months. I became more aware of her movement when I was lying in bed and relaxed.
