I worked at a OB/GYN office for 15 years and the Dr. there said NO HOT TUBS. It is not a good thing. Please check with your Dr. first to be safe.

No hot tubbing in the general way. You can dangle your feet and lower legs in it. The risk comes from the high tempature of the water bringing your core temp up. If your body temp rises it causes damage to the baby especially with how early in the pregnancy you are.

I was told it was fine to get in a bath or a hot tub as long as it's not too hot. Your body will tell you when you are getting too hot for it. You will start sweating and feeling dizzy and that is a sign to get out. It won't harm your child. If it is too hot then yes sticking your feet in is just fine.

Your feet in it will not hurt anything. You dont want to raise your core temperature above 100 degrees when pregnant. So you dont want to be in water above that degree. That includes baths, or steaming hot showers where you are warm for a long time.
This is especially important in the first trimester, as heat can cause deformities.

They tell you not to go into hot tubs or to take hot baths. When your body temp. get too high, you cause the baby to get a fever inside of you. I would suggest to just put your feet in for a few. Best of luck to you and your family!!

You should be ok putting your feet in but if your whole body starts to feel the heat that is a problem. Also the chemicals in hottubs can be horrible and a new hottub can be unbalanced and cause chemical burns and allergic reactions which can make you sick (my uncle learned that one the hard way). I wouldn't chance it. If it is hotter than warm bath water it can be dangerous for your baby.

You could go in, but you must be very cautious of your temperature. There was a research done that shows most women get out before they get hot enough to damage their baby, so if you listen to yourself, you should know when to get out.
Feet in is always a safe alternative.

you can sit with your feet in just fine, regardless of temperature, but if you want to sit submerged you have to have it at a lower temperature (no higher than 100 degrees)
