It has been almost 10 weeks since my son was born and I still have not gotten my period. Should it take this long if I am bottle feeding??? I am planning on calling my OB but just thought I would get some feed back TIA

Everyone is different. It could take a while. But remember you can get pregnant even if you haven't had your period, so don't use that as a sign...

It will take a few months for your body to cycle. You have a 6 week period of time where you bleed after birth, even if its not the full 6 weeks your body isnt ready to start cycling until after that point.

In most cases it will take 3 months or so for you to get your period, and for it to be some-what regular like it was before.

Its nothing to be concerned about... UNLESS you have been having unprotected sex.

My son was born at the end of November my period didn't return until February and I didn't breastfeed either so maybe around 3 months?
