We have been looking into vacuums lately and was wondering what you had and if you like it, as well as the price. Thanks

I got the Dyson, I figured sense I vacuum twice a week and have 2 cats and 2 dogs, it would be the best investment for my family. This vacuum never clogs it has a great hepa filter system for cleaner air, and also has a 5 year warranty. It is defiantly worth the money. I got it at bed bath & beyond and used my 20% off coupon so I got $100 off the price =)
I had my other piece of crap vaccum for only 1 1/2 years and it was $100 so I figure if I have to replace a piece of crap vac. every year or 2 and the Dyson is a 5 year warrenty it pays for itself.

I just bought the BISSELL 3910 Momentum Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner last month from Wal-mart for about $89. We like it. It has good reviews on Amazon and it is bagless. The power on this vacuum is so much better than the power I had on my dirt devil. The dirt devil was nice but this one is a lot more powerful.

I did have a Hoover upright, self propelled but I now have a Sear's canister vac, which was in the middle of the road where price is concerned. I like it so much better than the Hoover. I can get under the furniture better with it.

$200-$300 price range...
Orick also make a great vacuum.
Shop for a re-conditioned one..They are usually like a brand new one. And much cheaper.

I have a Bissell bagless upright with the lift-off canister (handy for stairs, chairs, hard to reach areas) that I bought about 2 years ago for around $130 and it still works great! I would buy again. http://www.bissell.com/Products/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Bissell&category%5Fname=UprightVacuum&product%5Fid=LO+Revolution
