Unfortunately, you're probably too far east to see much of this shower. But Auriga will be high in the northeastern sky before dawn. It really doesn't matter exactly where you look, as the meteors are only originating in Auriga; they actually appear all over the in the sky. Get a deck chair, dress warmly, and just lie back and watch. But, as I said, your chances of seeing many Aurigids are slim, though you'll probably see a few sporadic meteors.

This evening, take note of where the sun sets. That's west. Turn around and behind you is east. Now turn a little to your left and that's northeast.
