The first time I seen this poem was in an oncologist vet's office. It has been hanging on my refrigerator now for three years since I lost my dobie boy to cancer.
Very heart touching poem!!

Where did they pluck Rainbow Bridge from? Im sorry Im a MASSIVE animal lover but that was just funny...
"The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes" Im sorry but that sounds like an extract from some terrible romantic novel.
Just because they make up some halfway heaven to lie to you about doesnt make it ok to preach nonsense to people who are probably feeling genuine grief for a loved pet. I'd be well peeved if I had received that in the mail after loosing my wee pal Benji, it almost makes a mockery of your heartache.

I've lost a couple pets and have lit candles at the site.
Here's another site that has some wonderful poetry and tributes to our beloved pets.

I have read it, and don't beleive in send out a prayer, but beleive it should be a personal card, and yes from the heart that all my customers get. Not just a standard thing.
