No, tampons cannot break your virginity. They may stretch out your hymen a little bit, but they're so small that they don't really do much of the 'stretching.' The only way for you to lose your virginity is by having vaginal sex with a man's penis. Best of luck!

Contrary to what a lot of folks believe, no, a tampon cannot break the hymen.

As for breaking or not breaking the hymen, does it matter really matter that you have an intact hymen? Hymens come in various shapes and designs. If your hymen is still intact and shaped like a septum (a thin line of skin which divides the center of the vaginal opening, as does the septum of our nose), then this thin membrane of skin may stretch or break when you ride a bike, climb a tree, ride a horse, do gymnastics or do any physical activity. I don't know why there is so much confusion and myths about the hymen.

Or, if like most females, you have a hymen shaped like a crescent moon around the bottom or sides of the vaginal opening, then tampons should not interfere at all. Or, a woman's hymen could have already been broken or stretched by sexual activity, even if she has not had a penis inside of her. (And there is your virgin definition. Look up virgin in the dictionary if there is any confusion about what this word really means. Sadly, I guess health education in public schools is not as good as it was when I was a preteen.

A virgin means you haven't had a penis into your vagina, therefore a tampon cannot make you lose your virginity.

You are talking about the Hymen, which is seriously overrated and can actually be broken due to physical activity like horseback riding.

For the 30th time answering this question... No! Only a entering penis can take your virginity. It will however break a flap of skin covering the entrace of the vagina called the hymen. But this does not mean your virginity was taken. You can break that bike riding, horse riding, or using a tampon. Don't worry. PS, Say what thou wilt, I LOVE your picture! Go johnny Depp!

It can tear your hymen, especially if they are the big tampons. This can happen from playing sports or a number of other things too. But it hasn't technically taken your virginity. You are still a virgin until you have sex.

No but it can break a kind of seal called a Hymen. Nothing to be concerned about however, it's perfectly normal and breaking the seal with tampons is a very common occurrence.

you mean your virginity?

well tampons can possibly break your hymen (it's what tears and bleeds after your first time) but so can a lot of other things... like playing sports or if you got hurt.

But it doesn't make you lose your virginity, that only happens when you have sex.

sure,, but you could have a good coughing attack and break the hymen, it is just alittle membrane,, true virginity being broken has nothing to do with the hymen,, it really is all about having sexual intercourse,, just because your hymen breaks doesnt mean you are not a virgin anymore,

and any type of sex, oral, hand, etc,, can be deemed as broken virginity,,
