The only mistake they made was they wanted the best college player to have the last spot & for some weird reason they thought it should be Christian Laettner. Think how much more dominating this team would have been with a 20 or 21 year old Shaquille O'neal on the team. When he ran like a power forward & dunked on people with reckless abandon. When he was young he could really get up & down the floor also. The other choice would have been Alonzo Mourning.

We all know the rosters now, and I still have a gripe. There is no way in HECK John Stockton should have been picked over Isaiah Thomas. It was a power move by Jordan, who still hated Zeke, to tell USA basketball officials that if Isaiah Lord Thomas was on the team he wouldnt play. By that time Thomas won two NBA championships and a Finals MVP. He was the unquestioned leader of the most hardnosed, lunchpail, smashmouthed NBA team ever. BAD BOYS!!!! DUMARS FOR MAYOR!!!

john stockton,michael jordan,scottie pippen,karl malone,patrick ewing,magic johnson,larry bird,charles barkley,david robinson,clyde drexler,chris mullin & finely the selectors decided to pick a young star for experience so they went with christian laettner. personally i would hav picked dominique wilkins or isiah thomas even if they were injured. laettner was a rookie he wasnt an allstar nba player or top 100 player of all time.

what the hell was chris laetner doing on this team! this spot should have been filled by isiah or dominique wilkens, hell even mark price deserved it more
