A lot of different elements are in the human body but the main ones are Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Phosphorous, the components of macromolecules. Then there are metals such as cobalt, nickel, zinc, iron, calcium, sodium, magnesium, boron, silicon, tin, copper, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, potassium, vanadium and nonmetals such as iodine, selenium, and chloride. Other known elements of the body found in trace amounts are lead, uranium, thorium, gold, and silver.
