Not much different, just flip the roles of the parties.

I personally don't think that 9/11 would have ever happened. WHY? Because the fact that Al Gore had been VP for the past 8 years and knew that terrorism was serious and would have heeded the warnings which were present in July and August. I mean Alex Jones PREDICTED that it would happen at the beginning of July on his show! The PDB (which, I have to add, had genius spin control to play down the importance of it, I have to give Rove this much...he is very good at the spin). We also would have responded to the proof of who caused the USS Cole..we had solid proof in FEB. of 2001, and Bush did nothing to respond to the news.
I also think that Iraq would have been left alone and the sanctions would have continued, because they WERE working.
I DO think that we would have still been on the path to the North American Union, because it makes no difference between Democrats and Republicans, because they are BOTH in on it.

We would have attacked Afghanistan because the people who trained there caused so much pollution in NYC. Global warming would still be going on reguardless of what ever measures he managed to get pushed through Congress.
Saddam would be free of all restrictions (even if there were some left Gore wouldn't be doing anything about them.
Al would probably care less about Osama Bin Laden because he's living in a cave and that is envronmentally friendly.
If Al won then Congress would have probably gone Democrat in 2002 so the money spent on Iraq would have been wasted on other things that would have had no chance of ever ending. We'd have a ton of 'social' programs that are supposed to help someone (but doesn't), that cost way more the Iraq ever thought about, will have about as much chance of being repealed later (they might get bigger)as a snowball in hell.
Al Gore as President scares me almost as much as Hillary Clinton.

I could speculate on this but I won't. The reason I won't is like asking if I would have done this, then what would have been the results?
It's impossible to say. Would there have been a 9/11 terrorist attack?
Would the Katrina victims still be homeless?
See what I mean. It's just to hard to answer this question.
The one thing I know he would be promoting is climate change and greenhouse gases.

We may be at war with China and Russia for polluting so much. We will have Nuclear powered Green Peace submarines wich will nuke any country that does not pay their carbon tax.
We will have UN Eco Death Squads armed with ray guns that storm over any city that does not meeat the Kyoto Protocol.
Oh yes, America will be a lean, mean, and carbon-taxed green machine.. Pay your carbon tax or be recycled!!!

America would no longer exist. The world would be in a massive depression. The schools and universities would be void of females. Hillary would no longer be screeching speeches through the media.
But at least crime would be down because the penalties for crimes are carried out rather quickly and are rather harsh, like stoning a couple found guilty of committing adultry.
Maybe you could ask another question. What would America be like if Clinton had done his job correctly to protect the Constitution of the United States?
Hey Male Cheerleader, exactly where are those radical Muslims you are talking about we should have attacked instead of the oil rich Middle East?

It's very interesting to see the wide range of responses. I honestly don't know the answer to your question. I do think though that the president has enormous influence over our lives.
Don't you think it would be great to live in a country that wasn't so heavily influenced by its top politician?

Like Iraq only everyone would be driving environmentally friendly cars through the rubble and have free internet since he did invent it.

IT WOULD BE MORE OR LESS OVER. IF ANY ONE COULD HAVE DONE A WORSE JOB THAN JIMMY (I HATE AMERICA) CARTER IT WOULD BE AL GORE. AFTER 9/11 HE WOULD HAVE CURLED UP IN A FETAL POSITION & PROBABLY NEVER COME OUT. THIS WOULD HAVE LEAD TO A JOE LIEBERMAN PRESIDENCY (UNDER PRESIDENTIAL SUCCESSION). SO MAYBE YOU NEVER KNOW.

It would be like the Jetsons except we wouldn't have any jobs to go to because factories are dirty and would have to be shut down. If anyone could do a worse job than Bush it would be Gore.

If Al Gore had been elected President in 2001, America would still be here...
totally isolated from the Greater Caliphate of Europe, and from the Grand Pacific Caliphate and the Northern African Caliphate.
...and unemployment would be 30%.
But we'd have clean air, b/c all the factories would be closed!
