You're not alone - they've been my favorite team since I was a kid.
It's frustrating to watch them finish third almost every season (they sneaked into second a few years ago), but I'm still optimistic about their future. It's tough to compete when you're in a division with franchises like the Sox and Yanks, but I'll never give up on the Jays.

It's not that people don't like the Blue Jays. It's that they play in Toronto. No, that's not an anti-Canada remark, it's just the truth. Canada pretty much ignores baseball like Americans ignore soccer. That's just the way it is. If they played in the states, things would be different, but being the only Canadian team doesn't help their fanbase.

I like the Jays and I like Toronto as a city. I have been there and it was very nice.

Not sure. I'm a Yankee fan but I have a little bit of a soft spot for the Jays because my dad works with an uncle of Shaun Marcum.

They're my AL team, due to my having gone to University of Toronto. I was up there when they started winning the AL East, with the great Stieb/Key/Upshaw/Barfield/Bell/Fernandez/Gruber teams. Those were fun teams to watch, even if Exhibition Stadium was the worst MLB stadium ever.

I think the Jays have the talent but injuries have take a toll on them this year.
