Well, first off, I'm a boxer, I've been boxing for about 2 years now, and I know what I can do, and I haven't been in a street fight since then. Since as a boxer, I've not only learned how to be a fighter, but be a better person all together, I'm much more humble when it comes to people I've never met and a lot more friendly. Being a boxer you know what you can do to people so its nothing to go around boasting about, but theres someone at my school who i absoloutely can't stand, we play football together, he acts like he's king of the school, he likes to punk out the smaller players and sometimes freshmen and steps up to me sometimes and gives me looks and thinks he can take me, ( i'm sure he thinks this ). I don't tell anyone I'm a boxer or I've been boxing other than a few close friends. Should I put this guy in his place or just walk away and continue on with what I've been doing? Why or why not should i beat his *** and put him in his place for good?
Thanks and have a blessed day!

I completely understand you. You should not provoke the fight for one which i doubt you would but sometimes there are those few people that jus need a good ol fashion @$$ kickin. The fact that u r a boxer means u know when to stop. Dont hurt him (to bad anyway LOL) but if he is pickin on other people just politely tell him to stop if he trys to jump hard dont egg him on jus tell him u would appreciate it if he got out of your fce or ellse there is gonna b consequences that way if he is like u say he is he will hit u first and it will be self-defense and u cant get into too much trouble but u also have 2 think about football too will u get kicked off the team? if so u may want to weigh ur options.

Is he worth getting suspended over? Why don't you just tell him he's a punk and make a point to be nice to the younger, smaller kids. That way more people will respect you and realize he's a tool.

you know, this is from disney channel, even tho im too old to watch it, i dont watch it all the time, every now and then, but theres a saying from a show, and it goes 'when you fight fire with fire, you just get burned'.

im sure everyone else is gonna answer like this too, if they dont tell you to beat the guy's ***, but you have to be the bigger person. im not gonna explain why since you seem to know it.

You'll rank higher as a winner if you don't actually engage him. Sounds like you're doing fine. Mind battles will give you a more lasting victory. Have you seen the mag, Men's Health? They often give tips on scenes like this.

If he steps to you, tell him to f*** off.
When he throws the first punch as a result, knock him off his pedistal.
Then walk away and never brag about it.

unless he starts something and you obviously need to defend yourself, or if he starts something with you when you're trying to get him to leave someone else alone, it's best to leave him alone. don't stoop to his level.

if you do need to defend yourself, though, just be careful...give him what it takes, but don't do so much damage that you get into trouble.
