well last night i went to bed and i woke up hearing my cat run around my room, so i got up and saw my cat chasing a big rat! my little sister whoes only 6 was sleeping in my room on my floor. so i got up i cant remember if i turned the light on but i think i did. and then picked up my sister put her one my bed, and went and got my stepdad to come catch it or w/e. when i got back in my room, my cat was just sitting by where the rat dissaoeard to, and when my stepdad came in my cat went and layed by my window like nothign had happened! my sister said she didnt even see a rat, but she believes i saw it. thers no rat droppings, and nothing happened the rest of the night, though i did sleep in the other room. im starting to think maybee i was dreaming, like i think they call it hypnagogic hallucinations, cuz i have been wakeing up to spiders hanging down on webs by myface, but i always relize i was dreamingafterwards. well anyways, theres no evidencethat really happened. wat do you think?

You will probably never know for sure unless the rat comes back to visit... If and when it does, make sure you wake your sister or take a picture of the rat for proof.

u wrote that u got up n saw ur cat chasing a rat....then how could u be possibly dreaming? something to think about...
no rat droppings? maybe the rat didn't have any dinner.
the cat waqs sitting by the window as if nothing had happened? maybe it got too tired of chasing it, that it gave up.
ur sis believes you? GOOD SISTER.

I believe you really saw it but the rat sounds as if it is some sort of negative entity/energy that's in your house. Our animals do protect us from negativity and your cat was doing his/her job by chasing it away. Spiders are also considered protectors, so take it as a good sign that they are dangling webs around your face/head (psychic/spiritual protection.) Dream catchers, if you are familiar with them, consist of a circle with a web in the middle to "catch" the negativity that can come in the night. If you want extra protection, you can buy Eucalyptis oil at a health food store and put a couple of drops on before bed. You can also burn dried white sage (called smudging) in your house...just some ideas.

It happened. The cat was just messing with you afterwards.

well you might think this far fetched ..... its just a thought..... maybe in one of your past lives you experienced things like this ..........or maybe you have an overactive imagination.... maybe set up a video camera or a tape recorder at night .
