I was once told by an Australian that "dags" is slang for the little matted lumps of faeces-laden wool around the orifice of a sheep's bottom (as you can see, in describing them, I am more polite that he was). I think in England we refer to them as "dingleberries". So, if indeed you are referring to what I have described above, my answer to your question would be no.
