the 70's and 80's. i have to listen to that ALL THE TIME when i'm in my dad's car. and now i'm glad that i do.

the 90s - from Madchester, Grunge and the general rise of "alternative" music at the beginning of the decade through to the overwhelming dominance of hip hop by the end of the decade there was a spectacular amount of good music produced.

Oh, absolutely! The 80's rule!!!
I have tried to hook my kids on 80's music, but my daughter is a tween, so she is into top 40 stuff and I think my husband has my son hooked on rap (UGH!). When my son was younger, he would do air guitar to "Jesse's Girl" by Rick Springfield. It was cute.

Got to be the 19 fn 80s. So many reasons and YOU KNOW my reasons from some past questions.
Real music, no whiny crap, musicians had talent, etc... I could go on and on...
