tale of the Odyssey is there a movie on it, pls help i would appreciae anything any classical movies would help?

"The Odyssey" (1997) directed by Andrei Konchalovsky
starred with Armand Assante, Greta Scacchi, Isabella Rossellini, Eric Roberts, Christopher Lee and many other famous actors. It was filmed in Malta and Turkey, as well as many other places around the Mediterranean Sea where the story actually took place. But there is a great deal of differences from Homer's story. The movie is great, though I think you should read the book. It's not that difficult.

There are several movies based on the Odyssey but none adhere faithfully to Homer's story. It's one of the all time classics and you will not regret the effort you put into reading it.
