I'm starting to get into thrash metal. I never liked it before but I do now. And I don't know if this counts as metal but I love hair metal! lol

Saxon, Motorhead, Raven, Tank, Judas Priest, and of course Iron Maiden.
Most of the Speed/Thrash bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer developed from those bands listed far above.

Swamp metal (when is it gonna get noticed?), followed by thrash/groove metal. Don't you just love dividing everything up into little sub genres. I need the flow chart from Headbanger's Journey to keep up.

I like Heavy Metal, Hair Metal, Symphonic Metal like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth for example and some others I can't remember the names of right now that I also like.

I am a big fan thrash metal. it seems to cover all the grounds of heavy metal it's fast, mosh-worthy, heavy, the lyrics can be controversial, and it can occasionally be melodic.

I'm a melodic metal kinda guy. I also like thrash and death metal. They are all great, i just love guitar solo's, so melodic metal is for me.

Death metal is my favorite, some thrash and metalcore is alright, I can't stand hardcore.
